Rubber end caps, secure hardware battery contacts, and double springs on battery fittings provide better protection from shock and vibration, and enhance overall performance. Our most rugged beacon, the 88B, is reinforced with a shock-resistant composite housing, larger antenna, and stiffer battery springs to minimize intermittent signals.
